El doble / The double

Una película basada en la obra de Fiódor Dostoyevski

Se trata de Simon, un joven un tanto retraído que siente que su vida está siendo absorbida por la costumbre, se siente como un robot (casa-trabajo-casa) y el vivir solo no le ayuda mucho, aunque un día en particular, conoce a una chica que le llama la atención y vive justo en el edificio de en frente, para su suerte, también labora en el mismo sitio donde él; pero al ser tan tímido siempre que la ve nunca se atreve a hablarle.

Simon también descubre que en su trabajo contratan a alguien físicamente idéntico a él, sólo que el nuevo chico, tiene una personalidad totalmente opuesta, es extrovertido, alegre, le reconocen su trabajo, el jefe sabe su nombre, al parecer todos lo adoran y no notan el parecido con Simon ya que nadie le pone atención.

Esta idea de su doble no puede salir de su mente, no puede creer que lleve más tiempo trabajando ahí y nadie lo note, es un enigma que Simon se encargará de resolver...

La película tiene un tono misterioso que la hace mucho más interesante y atrapante, tiene buenas actuaciones, buena fotografía y soundtrack, y una historia que te pone a pensar ¿cuántas veces te has sentido así, como si fueras un autómata trabajando todos los días, haciendo siempre lo mismo, sin sentir realmente el paso del tiempo porque todo es igual y porque no hay algo o alguien especial para ti? ...

Simon is a young man, he is shy, untroubled, quiet but he thinks his life is an automation, he feels like a robot doing the same things everyday, (home-job-home) he lives alone and it doesn´t help him be more social.

There is a girl he likes, but he is so timid and never talks to her, she lives in the front building and also they are working at the same place.

Simon discovered in his job one guy who looks exactly like him, but their personalities are totally opposite, the other guy is so extrovert, kind, funny, everyone knows about him, he is also recognized because of his good job.

Simon is abashed, ¿how is it possible nobody notice they are identical? and ¿Why the other guy is so famous while Simon is like a ghost? All these things confuse Simon, his life is a disaster even more than in the past, but he has to do something to discover the real identity of his double.

This film has a mysterious tint, is catching and there is a moment when you feel identified, ¿How many times you feel like a robot doing the same stuff day by day, nothing or someone special and time goes by and you don´t feel it because each day is the same?...

The movie really makes you do an introspection and think what are you enjoying about your life, what do you want to change, not to be a robot, be a human who feels, be someone who lives and not only survive.
